The owners of Richplant are Richard and Ellen Scheffers. Our company is located on the Grote Achterweg in Naaldwijk since 1998. Together with an experienced and enthusiastic team of employees, we strive to be a customer friendly business and to deliver high-quality plants.
Richard started in 1983 with growing potted plants in a company of 8500 m2 on the Poeldijksepad in Honselersdijk. He started growing Gardenia Jasminoides in that greenhouse in 1987. In the middle of the year 1989, a greenhouse was added. The greenhouse, located on the Oostheullaan in Honselersdijk, was a greenhouse in which, next to a diverse range of different breeds, mainly Spathiphyllum was grown. In 1998, both greenhouses were sold. We continued on 1 new location, on the Grote Achterweg in Naaldwijk.
The surface area of our company is 50.000 m2 at the moment. Our main activity is growing Gardenia Jasminoides in diverse potsizes. Next to this, we grow a range of exclusive seasonal products, like Caladium, Colocasia, Crossandra Fortuna, Clerodendrum Prospero, Jatropha Multifida, Jatropha Podagrica, Curcuma Siam, Aphelandra, Plumeria and Starcluster. On request, plants could be delivered in decorative pots.

Our company is modern and flexible, this is why we are capable to deliver blooming Gardenia’s through the year and to ensure a wide range of high-quality blooming plants. We are always busy to develop products and we want to offer a surprising range of unique blooming plants. Our goal is to offer the florist a wider range of plants and to surprise the consumer and make them happy with less popular blooming plants. Of course, we operate in a socially responsible way. This is why we are certified for MPS-GAP, MPS-SQ (Socially Qualified), MPS-Q (Quality) and GRASP.
Also, we are member of grower organization Decorum Company, which guarantees a delivery of green and blooming plants and flowers of the highest quality.
